Our Conservation Weekends give individuals and families the opportunity to spend weekends throughout the year at the magical 70 acre Hazel Hill Wood. Nestled just 6 miles from the historic city of Salisbury, people from near and far join us to enjoy the peace and tranquility of a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With no WiFi and very little phone signal they are the ultimate way of gaining a digital detox and reconnecting with the natural world.
Stay in one of our bespoke, off-grid, eco buildings from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon and take part in various conservation related activities in addition to spoiling yourself with a dip in the wood fired hot tub or time in the sauna. There is always the option to camp on site if you prefer and our range of accommodation options means the weekends are suitable for all ages.
During the weekend you will learn new skills as various conservation tasks are planned and led by our experienced team. While conservation is the name of the game our weekends are often themed and so you will get the opportunity to participate in a range of other activities. Previous themes have included wellbeing, multi-generational, green woodworking, coppicing and hedgelaying.
Become part of an instant community as we all take part in activities, prepare meals and eat as a group.
