Every month we invite members of the public to join our dedicated team as we undertake valuable conservation work at Hazel Hill Wood. Our Volunteer Conservation Days give you the opportunity to meet new people and develop new skills in a relaxing and nourishing environment. Often joined by local natural history experts our Volunteer Conservation Days also give you the opportunity to make a positive impact on the local environment.
Activities vary throughout the day and from month to month so there is always something new to be doing. All ages are welcome however it is important to note that activities often require the use of tools and all activities are outside. While safety talks are given and there is always a warm dry spot for a cup of tea, parents should consider this when bringing children.
Join our dedicated team of volunteers, help to maintain the diversity and tranquillity of Hazel Hill, learn new skill and enjoy the beauty of the wood through the seasons. We welcome any new participants to these events, and look forward to seeing some familiar faces back again soon.
