Conservation For Wellbeing

In addition to the activities and events held at Hazel Hill Wood there is the ongoing mission to ensure the conservation of this magical place. Through many years of development and management it has become apparent that simply being in the wood can have positive effects on individuals wellbeing. When this experience is twinned with conservation work to ensure the wellbeing of the wood a natural relationship is created that we call Conservation for Wellbeing.

This experience is available to all through our monthly volunteer conservation days and also bi-annual conservation weekends.

Whether you have always wanted to learn copicing, hedge laying or perhaps just get out and about more, there are always events taking place at Hazel Hill Wood to cater for your needs. Work is delivered by our in house team and also selected external providers.
