Hazel Hill is a beautiful, secluded 70-acre wood, seven miles from Salisbury, offering retreats, celebrations and conservation events, some with Dances of Universal Peace. These involve simple movement and song, based on sacred phrases from spiritual traditions around the world. The wood is also available for group bookings. Facilities include heated sleeping lofts or camping, indoor group room, civilised loos and showers.

Voices

Many people who visit Hazel Hill Wood find that the wood itself, the trees and other forms of life there have an intelligence and a voice which can be heard by humans: not with the physical ear, but through meditation and intuition. We at Hazel Hill want you to experience this. To find out more, please go to the Voices of the Wood page.

Forest Ark

Work on the centrepiece of Hazel Hill's modernisation plans is well under way. The Forest Ark eco-lodge will be totally carbon-neutral with Solar power for electricity and hot water. It will also have wood-fired heating, rainwater harvesting and composting loos. It will have access for the disabled and their carers. Construction is well underway, we hope to have the building in use by late 2008. For more infomation and plans, please follow the Forest Ark link.

Thank you to all who have helped with the project. Check the Programme page for more details.
