Hazel Hill is a beautiful, secluded 70-acre wood, seven miles from Salisbury, offering retreats, celebrations and
conservation events, some with Dances of Universal Peace. These involve simple movement and song, based on sacred
phrases from spiritual traditions around the world. The wood is also available for group bookings. Facilities include
heated sleeping lofts or camping, indoor group room, civilised loos and showers.

Tibetan Monks
For the second year running, we have been honoured to have a group of Tibetan monks from Tashi Luhmbo Monastery visit the Wood.
The Mandala Retreat was one of the highlights of the year. This was a rare chance to connect
closely with and experience a deeply healing ceremony and ritual from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. This year the sand mandala was
dedicated to the most celebrated Feminine deity for the Tibetan people : Tara in Her 21 forms and manifestations.
Voices
Many people who visit Hazel Hill Wood find that the wood itself, the trees and other forms of life there have an intelligence
and a voice which can be heard by humans: not with the physical ear, but through meditation and intuition. We at Hazel Hill want you to experience this.
To find out more, please go to the Voices of the Wood page.
Forest Ark
Our latest and most sustainable building is now up and running. The Forest Ark eco-lodge is totally carbon-neutral with
Solar power for electricity and hot water. It also has wood-fired heating, rainwater harvesting and composting loos.
It has access for the disabled and their carers. It can be booked for groups along with the main facilities and is also available occasionally for
small retreats. For more infomation please follow the Forest Ark link or for retreats, the Retreats link.
Conservation Weekends
We are running our next Conservation Weekends in April and October 2011. Free Accommodation and some food
in exchange for some help with conservation at Hazel Hill. All ages welcome - come on your own, with friends or as a family.

Retreats
For 2011, we are offering opportunities for small group or solo retreats using the Forest Ark. Whilst the main buildings are designed
for larger groups, the Forest Ark provides comfortable accommodation, including basic cooking facilities, for 1-6 people.
