Moving through Blockages – Day 2 of the ‘Nourishing the Frontline-programme
19/10/2017, 10am-4.30pm

“We can’t always choose what comes along our way, but we can choose how to respond to it”

This workshop is about moving through blockages and becoming more resilient. We’ll be looking at where we sometimes struggle and get blocked, both as individuals and teams, acknowledging some of the less helpful patterns from the past. We will explore widening our perspective and understanding of situations, expanding our potential for flexibility (a key resilience skill), so that we can access a greater breadth of choices in the way we work.

Woodland Learning: A Network Circle. 5/11/2017 – 6/11/2017

If you’re involved with a woodland learning centre, or teach in the woods, this  is a rare chance to meet peers, share insights and explore how we can help each other in this valuable work.

Areas that we hope to explore;

  • Does woodland learning constitute a as a sector or network?
  • Sharing good practice and developing learning opportunities from each other.
  • Discussing scope for mutual support and growth through funding and shared activities.
  • Identifying where woodland learning is headed and what needs can we help to meet.

Creating Resilient Teams – Day 3 of the ‘Nourishing the Frontline-programme
15/11/2017, 10am-4.30pm

Many of us have experienced what it feels like to be part of a thriving and resilient team: there’s a buzz; shared goals and achievements; work gets done efficiently, successes are celebrated; the team rises to challenges; it’s fun and the team share openly with a strong sense of mutual trust; we learn and grow through challenges and mistakes; there’s a sense of flow, and so on….

The challenge is how we take those experiences and translate them into practice, especially in times of increased complexity, change and uncertainty at work. Creating Resilient teams is a workshop for managers, team leaders, coaches, organisational development & HR professionals with an interest in, or responsibility for teams and their resilience.
